Recognition Programs Committee

The Recognition Committee works to develop recognition programs related to firefighter training for firefighters in Oklahoma.  It consists of a wide representation of fire department types and fire service organizations, and it meets on an as-needed basis for a minimum of twice a year.  Presently, the Recognition Committee is constructing a patching program for Oklahoma firefighters based on different levels of training (“Basic,” “Intermediate,” “Advanced,” etc.)  Additionally, the committee is discussing the possibility of implementing a system to issue certificates to fire departments that achieve certain training goals.
